ALCESTER Scouts and Guides look closer to finding a new home if an architect gives a proposed site the thumbs up, writes helen Clarke.
The Guides are homed in a hut at the bottom of Stratford Road and the Scouts are housed at the back of the Greig Centre.
As both sites are lacking facilities, it was decided the two should combine efforts and find a joint headquarters.
