VINTAGE car collectors are being warned to be on their guard after an unusual theft of specialist tools, writes Becky Procter.
Police believe thieves may have deliberately targeted a man who collects and works on vintage cars when more than £7,000 worth of tools was taken in a raid.
The theft happened in Church Hill on Thursday, July 19, and police have since urged anybody who is approached to buy such tools to call them.
Cars the tools could be used on include an Austin 7, MGB and a Mini Cooper.
