TACKLING domestic violence has been highlighted as a priority for Redditch police after a Government review of force progress, writes Melina Cannon.
Her Majesty's Inspector of Constabulary compiled the report after a series of inspections in May, including 19 interviews with 66 officers and agency representatives across the division.
Chief Supt Lord said the force was understaffed but was awaiting new recruits over the next 18 months which would improve the service.
