VANDALS caused about £2,000 damage to two police cars when they were parked in Cleeve Close, Church Hill, at about 6.30pm on Friday.
Police are appealing for information after bricks, which are being forensically examined, were thrown at the Y-registered Vauxhall Astra cars.
At the time, officers were carrying out a drugs warrant in Fulbrook Close, which resulted in one man being cautioned for the possession of drugs.
Both windscreens on the cars and one driver's window were smashed and the roofs damaged.
