REDDITCH police officers will be among several people nominated for commendations following a shooting incident in Barnt Green.
Alvechurch man James Matthews, of Aqueduct Lane, was recently sentenced to four-and-a-half years imprisonment at Worcester Crown Court on Monday, August 6.
At the hearing, Judge Marten Coates recommended the two unarmed officers who arrested Matthews should be commended for their actions.
Officers who have commendations will be notified shortly.
