POLICE believe a man dressed as Batman was the main offender in a serious attack on a man at a Redditch nightclub at the weekend.
A man in his 30s was taken to hospital with serious facial injuries, including two broken eye sockets, after the attack inside Club Ventura in Moons Moat at about 1am on Sunday.
The man, who also suffered a broken nose and severe bruising to his mouth and face, has since been said to be comfortable in hospital.
Police said a fancy dress party was being held at the Battens Drive club and witnesses have stated the main offender appeared to be wearing a Batman costume.
Officers investigating the incident are appealing for anyone who was at the party to call them.
