REDS full back Ian Mitchell has confirmed United manager Nicky Cross is hoping to blood a new signing in the opening league match at Gloucester City on Saturday (ko 3pm).
Wing back Scott Colcombe, suspended on Saturday, saw a specialist last night about a troublesome foot injury and the club are awaiting the result.
