TWO promising Redditch ice-skaters will take the next step towards the British Championships at the weekend.
Laura Hume and Alless-andra Doddato contest the Swindon Open, the last of three qualifiers needed to go through to a final qualifier at Ayr, Scotland in October.
Hume is in the Junior event on Saturday with Doddato in the Primary section on Sunday.
If succesful the duo will head north of the border where Hume will have to finish in the top 18 and Doddato the top 24 to reach the Nationals in Basingstoke in December.
