BROMSGROVE residents can enjoy another fun packed Wednesday when the street theatre returns next week.

The Recreation Ground will play host to the town's annual event once again as youngsters get the chance to meet musketeers heroically doing battle with their arch enemies. The day will include a variety of events, including a circus skills workshop, face and henna painting, music and an exhibition of the children's artwork.

A free creche is also available for children over two years old.

Bromsgrove District Council's cabinet member responsible for recreation, amenities and tourism, Cllr Terri Matthews (Furlongs) said: "It's all good fun and it's free. Come along and enjoy a feast of entertainment."

The street theatre will make it's finale when Heir of Insanity presents Crystal Vita, a show set in the make believe land of fairy tales.

The council's marketing and tourism manager, Frances Johnson said: "This year's street theatre has been a great success so far and we are confident the next two Wednesdays will prove just as popular as hundreds of people, residents and visitors come to join the fun."

Performances begin on the hour from 10.30am to 1.30pm.
