BIDFORD'S Cotswold Hills championship hopes took a battering with a surpise loss to Elmley on Saturday.
The title favourites slipped up, falling 17 runs short of a 172 target to keep them just one point ahead of second placed Shipston.
Captain Nigel Wilson has to lift his side at home to roadway on Saturday (2pm start).
