HEWELL'S Worcester Six title aims took another blow with a surprise reverse to Knighton-on-Teme at the weekend.
After a shock defeat to Teme Valley, Hewell, who have topped the table for much of the season, are on a wobble with the finishing line in sight.
Second-placed Chainwire blitzed Cookhill to take maximum points and close the gap on the Donkey Hole Lane side to four points.
And skipper Mark Allcock has to get back to winning ways at home to Alvechurch Thirds on Saturday (1.30pm start).
With three teams promoted to Worcester Five, Hewell are 50 points clear of fourth place and know a win will guarantee promotion.
