THE husband of a woman who died earlier this year has given a boost to a Redditch charity, writes Matt Smith.
Alan Jones, of Astwood Bank, gave six wheelchairs, which had belonged to his wife, Ruth, to Shopmobility.
The couple found the service invaluable while Mrs Jones was being treated for a malignant brain tumour and she had asked that the chairs be donated to the scheme.
