SAY cheese! This merry group of daytrippers certainly knew how to smile - and so they should as they were all members of Redditch Camera Club.
Here they are in summer 1952 on a photographic outing to Tardebigge Locks.
The gentleman with the glasses in the back row sixth from the right is Mr Boyd. He was the president of the club and owned a camera shop in Church Green West .
The picture was kindly sent in by James O'Keeffe, of Abbey Road, who can be seen in the back row on the extreme right.
He said: "We used to go on quite a few outings."
Old pictures of Redditch or its surrounding villages can be sent to Julian Seva at the Redditch Advertiser and will be returned once used.
