I would like to thank all who came to my civic service on July 8 at St Stephen's Church.
Special thanks go to the children from Batchley and Pitcheroak schools, the Break-A-Leg choir, Alma Brights Singers, friends from Mtwara (who were here on a visit) who sang their national anthem, the staff from the schools, Mick Herbert, councillors and, not forgetting, Lewis Morris, my consort.
I have received letters from other mayors who all enjoyed the service, especially the children's singing.
Councillor Dot Dudley
Mayor of Redditch
