PLANS to create a healthy living centre in Redditch have gone back to the drawing board after a lottery bid for almost £900,000 was turned town.
Redditch Council had applied for £864,887 from the New Opportunities Fund to help set up a number of initiatives across the town to promote healthy living and improve residents' quality of life.
But this week council chiefs have heard the bid, which was submitted last September, had failed together with more than 1,000 other similar projects across the country.
