IN response to your headline of Monday, August 6 "Single jab Doc on the carpet", I feel I must air my views on the controversy.
Surely, in a democratic society, we are entitled to freedom of choice, including the welfare of our children.
If any parent feels that the choice of the Government is wrong for their offspring, then surely they are entitled to an alternative?
If their decision is to pay privately to a very reputable doctor in an extremely well-run clinic then their choice should be respected.
Having attended the clinic with my twin grand-daughters I would like to ask Worcester's Director of Public Health if he could answer why so many parents were attending? My assumption is that it is the direct responsibility of parents for their child's well being and not that of any Health Authority!
