NARDIS Roos was the hero of the hour for The Enders as they won the Worcester Evening League's Tansell Cup final by 36 runs against Ombersley at Worcester Cricket Club.

Roos batted through most of the Enders innings to score a sound 53, although Gavin Parrot slowed them down by taking three wickets in one over.

Division One champions Ombersley just did not preform with the bat, Steve Kings taking out the top order and then man of the match Roos finishing the job off with 3-8.

The Enders 96-6 (N Roos 53, S Kings 19, G Parrot 3-22, H Weston 2-28); Ombersley 60 all out (N Roos 3-8, S Kings 3-19 M Kings 2-15). The Enders won by 36 runs.

Ombersley will get a chance to make amends in the Thompson Cup final after an eight-run success over Colwall.

The final against Chaddesley Corbett will be played at Malvern Ramblers tonight.

Ombersley 106-5 (J Young 41 no, R Cook 23, W Hards 2-49); Colwall 98-5 T Riley 49 no, H Weston 3-21). Ombersley won by 8 runs.
