WORCESTER Rugby Club are preparing for a trip to the home of English Rugby Union this weekend as they select a squad for the Middlesex Sevens at Twickenham.
The Sixways club were invited to take part in the prestigious tournament following a withdrawal.
Worcester's squad, which will be announced later this week, will be made up of Academy players and some members of the senior squad.
The Gold 'n Blues are due to face Northampton Saints in the opening round of the tournament.
Meanwhile, Worcester's Academy are preparing for the new season with two top class matches at Sixways.
The Academy, an umbrella term for the Worcester Under 21 and Under 19 sides, will face Scotland Under 21s and Wasps later this month.
The game against Scotland's young internationals takes place on Wednesday, August 22 (7pm) and is scheduled to be played on the stadium pitch.
The Wasps fixture is scheduled for Saturday, August 25. The kick-off time is yet to be confirmed.
