A WORCESTER schoolgirl who disappeared from home over the weekend has been found safe and well.

Kelly Marie Spencer went missing after visiting a house in Severn Terrace with her mum at around 6pm on Saturday.

The brown-haired 12-year-old took no coat or money with her and sparked a huge police search.

Officers spent hours talking to the youngster's family and friends and appealed for information in a desperate bid to trace her.

Kelly called her mum late yesterday afternoon and met up with her last night at an address in Drake Avenue, Dines Green.

Earlier this year, Kelly's sister Sarah vanished on her way to school.

The 15-year-old and her friend Emma Collier, aged 16, went missing on Wednesday, May 9.

A week later, the pair turned up safe and well in Evesham.

"We're delighted that Kelly's back with her family," said police spokeswoman Vicki Davies.

"It must have been a very stressful time for them."
