CLARE Eckersley from Manor Park Club took the Malvern Junior Open Tennis Tournament Girls Under 18 title when she defeated Rachael Stubbs from Notts in the final 7/6. 6/3.

Clare also went on to take the 18U Doubles Title with Camilla Knight from Devon.

Tim Bradshaw, from Redditch, took both the Under 21 and the Under 18 Titles beating Sam Peace from Surrey and Rhodri Vaughan from Wales, whilst Gerald Chance from Stourbridge beat Robert Chambers from Notts 6/2. 6/2 to take the boys 14U Title.

Providing the clean sweep in the Boys Singles events, Robert Lowe from Pershore defeated Dan Shiner, Who lives in Hong Kong, 6/1, 6/4 to take the 12U Title.

In the Doubles Events, County players again did well with Tim Bradshaw an Dean Swingler winning the 18U Doubles, Gerald Chance and Adam Dudek winning the 14U Doubles and Robert Lowe and Miles O'Meally taking the 12U Doubles.
