A TRAIL of destruction was left by the driver of a silver Mitsubishi coupe on the A4104 Welland Road in Upton last Sunday night (August 5).
The car collided with a bus stop sign, two lampposts and a hedge before coming to rest in another hedge further down the road.
Fire and ambulance services were called to the scene, where the driver of the car was given treatment.
The passenger was taken to Ronkswood hospital, but was not seriously injured.
The driver was later arrested and charged with drink driving.
