A coffee morning and bring and buy sale is being held at St James' Church on Saturday, August 18 in aid of sick children in Africa. There will be on sale pictures, cakes, books and greeting cards.
Congratulations to Christian Fry who has gained a BA Honours in Visual Communication at the University of Kent in Canterbury. Christian is a past pupil of Hanley Castle High School and his parents live in Callow End.
Congratulations to Barbara Coombes on raising the magnificent sum of £300 at her recent coffee morning held at her home at Wheatfields Park in aid of the Crack Cancer Campaign.
