THE post-mortems on two elderly brothers found dead in their Malvern home were held today.
Pathologists examined the bodies of Harold and Charlie Sawbridge after a delay of 24 hours.
Worcester police confirmed that initial reports from the post-mortems had not revealed the cause of death of either man.
Tributes have already been paid to the pair, who were found by a neighbour at their terraced home in Pound Bank Road on Wednesday.
Harold, who was in his 80s, was described as "a marvellous person" who devoted years of his life to caring for his brother, who suffered from physical and mental illness.
The Rev Peter Furber, vicar of Christ Church, Avenue Road, Malvern, tried to track down the brothers after worried churchgoers had not seen Harold at the 8am Sunday Eucharist for weeks. "He was a very faithful man," he said.
