STRATFORD Racecourse is set for a mammoth crowd for Saturday's meeting, in a busy summer schedule, with a fourth fixture in the last 18 days.
Raceday Bookmakers are supporting the Heart of England course for the second successive year. Book-makers have been organised to help by John Geddes, who represents Lew Barclay Bookmakers and is based in Bromsgrove.
He will be sponsoring a Novices Hurdle race, while Gary Wiltshire, W Boden and Co and Stratford Tattersalls Bookmakers will also be involved on Bookmakers day.
Marketing Executive Tom Gittins commented: "The support of bookmakers is a vital lifeline for racecourses, and one relationship that must work in union for the good of racing as a whole.
"We have developed that relationship well here at Stratford and our bookmakers seem only too happy to give something back."
The first of a six-race card is due off at 2.20pm. Admission prices are Club £15, Tattersalls £11, Course £5.
