WORK is being carried out to ease Alcester's flooding problems, residents were assured at a meeting between Severn Trent and Warwickshire County Council.
The council has found one obstructed culvert, one faulty flood valve into the river and a culvert on private land blocked by trees.
It is also believed a culvert running through a field, which is a site of an ancient monument, is also obstructed.
Residents are furious about the situation and the meeting was quite heated.
During periods of heavy rain, many roads have been completely flooded and licensees have had to bail buckets of water from their pubs.
