A WORCESTER dad had a close shave when he lost his hair to raise money for a playgroup.
Andrew Dobbins decided to take the plunge to drum up much-needed funds for the Acorn's Playgroup in Ronkswood.
The father lost his locks at the Playgroup's annual sports day yesterday when he put his hair in the hands of John Rimmer and his razor.
Toddler Lauren Kendrick helped Mr Rimmer shave the brave volunteer's head.
The charity shave was held at St. Matthew's Church Hall, Lichfield Avenue.
