WORCESTER Rugby Club's stars will be jetting off for a Spanish siesta next year to prepare for their title run-in.

The National One pacesetters will fly out to the Costa de Sol for a four-day training camp between February 12 and 15 to get ready for a vital period of matches which are likely to determine the champions.

Adrian Skeggs' men face Coventry, Bedford, Manchester and then title rivals Leeds after the trip and the hope is that the break will re-fill the tanks after a hard winter schedule.

Skeggs said: "We have some tough games after that period and we'll be probably carrying a few knocks.

"It is an ideal time to go away and recharge the batteries and get over the little injuries some of the guys will be carrying."

The Atalaya resort features 58 different sporting activities to take part in, including windsurfing and gun and rifle shooting.

And Skeggs is hoping the break could give the team the ammunition to shoot down Leeds at Headingley on March 31.

He said: "That game could well decide the title, so we need to be in the best physical and mental shape possible."
