FULL-back Rohan Hoffman has left Worcester after playing for just 20 minutes in a pre-season friendly.

Australian Hoffman was a summer signing from Tecnico, in Portugal, and started the club's opening fixture of the pre-season programme against Connacht.

But the 27-year-old limped off injured and has not played since because of a niggling ankle injury.

He has left Sixways by mutual consent and returned home to Portugal where he hopes to resurrect his career next season.

Hoffman is one of three summer signings to have left without playing a game for the first team following the departures of centre Mike Swetman and prop James Alvis.
