AN OUTBREAK of influenza at Sixways has forced Worcester to ring the changes for tomorrow's Premiership Two clash against struggling Orrell.

Tomorrow's game has doubled in importance following last week's 20-9 defeat against second-placed Leeds but up to four players could be out due to illness. (3pm)

Winger Mat Walker, centre Andrew Higgins and number eight Simon Devereux are definitely out while Jim Jenner is doubtful.

Director of Rugby Les Cusworth suffered from the bug himself last week and said: "We could really have done without it especially losing so many players, but that's life and it can't be helped."

Higgins' illness allows former Waterloo centre Shaun Woof to make his debut at outside centre while Nick Baxter regains his left-wing berth in place of Walker.

Ed Orgee remains on stand-by if Jenner declares himself unfit for a game Worcester must win to regain title momentum.

Cusworth has rotated his squad elsewhere with James Richards replacing Marco Caputo at hooker, Sililo Martens at scrum-half for Bruce Fenley and Richard Denhardt in at lock for Dave Sims who has been named in the second team squad for tonight's visit to Cinderford along with centre Jamie Connolly.

Steve Lloyd also makes a return to the first team squad after a nine-week absence with a back problem and Chris Raymond will captain the side in Fenley's absence.

But Cusworth denied the changes are due to last week's disappointing display at Headingley.

"We felt that both James Richards and Sililo Martens needed games while Shaun Woof has been working hard and earned his opportunity," added Cusworth.

"We've always used a squad system at Worcester and we pick a group of 22 players which we aim to use."

Worcester: Tuipulotu; Myler, Woof, Connolly, Baxter; Yapp, Martens; Windo, Richards, Lyman, Denhardt, Raymond, Cockle, Carter, Jenner/Orgee.

Replacements: Linnett, Lloyd, Sims, Caputo, Hughes, Fenley, Harvey.
