FORMER St Helens star Scott Barrow is determined to bring that extra ingredient to Worcester's title challenge after a polished display on his first-team debut.

Barrow, who was playing his first competitive Union clash since his move from League, stole the show as Worcester walloped Henley Hawks 56-18.

And the 20-year-old, who has experience of Super League championship wins with the Saints, believes this could be the start of a beautiful relationship between him and the Sixways club.

He said: "We have the look of a championship-winning team not just on the pitch but off it as well. You can see improvement with the players week in, week out and they are going really well at the moment.

"I think we can go and win the title, there's no doubt about it."

Barrow, who was given his first-team bow because of illness to Rudi Keil and a calf injury to Laulala Langkilde, revelled in conditions and staked a big claim for the number 13 shirt.

"All the boys pulled together and the performance was very good. For me I've enjoyed my first league game."

Barrow has followed the recent trend of players switching from League to Union but said he had found the move easy so far. "I've had a while to get used to it, but I've had a few good runs now for the Warriors and I'm happy with the way things are going."
