ADRIAN Skeggs sends his side out for tomorrow's battle of Waterloo with the message: "Carry on scoring."

Worcester Rugby Club's director of coaching is keen for his team to give the Sixways faithful a try bonanza not only for the entertainment value, but also to keep second-placed Leeds in check.

The two sides lock horns on April 1 for the National One title showdown and Skeggs is well aware, with the situation so tight at the top, the need for a healthy goal-difference could decide the championship.

Bottom club Waterloo travel to Sixways on the back of two hefty defeats to Leeds and also with the worst defensive record in the league.

And Skeggs is determined his side will add to their woes by rattling up an impressive scoreline while Leeds face an ever-improving Coventry outfit at Headingley.

He said: "We've got to get a big score because Leeds are playing Coventry and I've got a sneaky suspicion they will be up for the game because they have won six games in a row now.

"Leeds have then got to go down to Bedford which will be a very tricky game.

"I have to be a lot stronger and make sure the players are prepared for a different challenge because we are playing the bottom team.

"We all knew what we had to cope with at Exeter and we had to adapt our game. How-ever, playing the last team is a different game completely."

With the players off on their mid-season break after next week's trip to Wakefield, the Australian believes the side need to claim two impressive wins before they jet off to Malaga on February 12.

"It's vital that we go away with two good performances behind us. Waterloo will all be about execution and an 80-minute performance because they fight for the whole match.

"We've got to play the pace of the game we want and make sure we don't get too individual like we did for some periods down at Exeter. The goal difference is now an important factor and it was very disappointing to let Exeter get within seven points of us on Saturday."
