STAND-OFF Ben Harvey has been rewarded for his fine second-half display against Exeter with a call-up to the number ten berth for tomorrow's clash with London Welsh at Sixways (3pm).

Premiership Two's leading scorer, Tony Yapp, had an uncertain first-half last week before being replaced by Harvey at half-time.

Worcester then recovered from a 24-15 interval deficit to score a dramatic 28-24 win over Exeter and keep their promotion hopes alive.

But director of rugby Les Cusworth said Harvey has been chosen more for his style of play than good form.

Harvey has proved a more unpredictable, attacking player since converting from scrum-half earlier this season, while Yapp is a steadier player with more experience.

"We've got two quality fly-halves and although Tony Yapp has had an excellent season it's a case of horses for courses," said Cusworth.

"They're different players and we just think that's the way we want to play it."

Harvey's inclusion is the only change in the backs from last week but the pack sees Brett Scriven come in at blind side flanker for the injured Lee Denham and prop Andy Collins starting instead of Neil Lyman.

Youngster Simon Daws keeps his place at open side even though Nathan Carter has recovered from a neck injury to take his place on the bench with Lyman.

"We just felt Neil Lyman has had so much rugby this year and it's left him carrying knocks for the last four weeks," added Cusworth.

"We made the decision to start with Andy Collins, and also with Simon Daws for the same reason."
