MANY of your readers will know how frustrating it can be for everyone when communication breaks down in a family.
Here at Parentline Plus we receive tens of thousands of calls every year from parents who want to talk but find it too difficult.
Parentline Plus is a national charity that offers help and information for anyone in a parenting role, including a freephone helpline on 0808 800 2222, and information service that includes a website www.parentlineplus.org.uk
To encourage families to come together, Parentline Plus last week ran Talking Families Week 2001 supported by BT.
This provided a real opportunity to let parents know that everyone struggles from time-to-time and that talking to someone about things, whether it is a relative, friend or someone on our helpline can help.
