COLWALL edged through to the last 16 of the Wadworth Six X National Village Cricket Championship when they beat Northamptonshire side Isham by one wicket yesterday.
In a thrilling finish, Colwall's last wicket pair of Damien Berry and Stuart Bailey figured in an unbeaten partnership of 20 to ease their side to victory after all their batsmen had struggled for runs.
Earlier Isham had also found batting difficult and reached only 145-9 from their 40 overs.
Bailey again impressed with four wickets.
