SPENCER Bromley bids to kick-start his season with a run-out at Sale Jets tomorrow night as Worcester Rugby Club's second string side, the Warriors, begin this season's campaign.
The winger, who injured his knee early in Worcester's opening National League Division One victory at Orrell, could be in line for a first team recall if he comes through tomorrow's friendly, kick-off 7.30pm.
The former Liverpool St Helens star would relish the chance to lock horns with Manchester at the weekend as the Sixways club bid to keep their 100 per cent record after the 40-13 mauling of Leeds Tykes.
The Worcester side to face Sale includes a number of first team players including new signing Mohamed Benbouhout, Ian Calder and Dave Merlin. Richard Denhardt skippers the side.
England Under 21 internationals Mark Eastwood, Chris Wilkes, Greg Meredith, Craig Price, Simon Daws, Brettt Scriven, Peter Knight, Chris Hall and Stuart Pearl will also feature.
Prop Andrew Collins returns to match action after being away on honeymoon.
The Warriors also face Newport (Gwent) seconds in a friendly at Sixways on Monday, September 25, kick-off 7.30pm with free admission.
