WORCESTER Rugby Club will be battling it out against Welsh Premiership side Bridgend at the first ever Sixways Open Day.
The inaugural event, on Sunday, August 8, will feature all-day rugby with the match between Worcester and Bridgend kicking off at 3pm.
More than 8,000 people are expected at Sixways.
There will also be games between Worcester and both Kidderminster and Malvern at 1pm and numerous junior exhibition and trial matches throughout the day.
"This is the first time that we have held an Open Day but we are confident that it will be a great success," said Worcester's Director of Rugby Les Cusworth.
"Bridgend are a great side and we are looking forward to a competitive start to the season," he said.
"The day is focused around rugby but we have dozens of attractions on offer for the family such as army displays, a flight simulator, giant bouncy slide, inflatable kingdom, Twickenham experience and numerous competitions," he said.
"We are hoping to attract current fans and also new supporters down to Sixways," said Cusworth.
Entrance to the Open Day and all the events at Sixways is completely free of charge and buses are available for supporters from Worcester City Centre and County Hall.
Free parking is available on the Blackpole Industrial Estate, just five minutes walk from the ground.
