PROP Tony Windo said he will be playing for the whole of Worcester Rugby Club when he takes on England's World Cup hopefuls tonight.

The loose head is the only Division Two player to be chosen for the Premiership All Stars squad who play an England XV at Anfield.

And 30-year-old Windo will use his appearance as a shop window for the rest of the Sixways squad.

His selection follows his call up to the England squad which toured Australia and New Zealand last summer.

Windo will be one of the replacements in the All Stars side to be captained by Leicester full-back Tim Stimpson.

"It's always nice to get recognised and it's good for Worcester," he said.

"After going on tour with England it's also good to know I'm still in the frame and in the pecking order.

"It gives everybody a lift that we can be recognised even though we're in the second division and I've said all along I've not come to Worcester to be playing in the second division for long.

"I'll be playing against players trying to get into the first choice starting line up for the World Cup so there's a lot at stake but I hope it will be a good game."

The match is part of Clive Woodward's final World Cup preparations and the unusual venue has been chosen to attract a new audience to the game. The England coach has made eight changes from the England side which beat Canada 36-11 10 days ago.

n Brian Baister, the chairman of the RFU's management board, was due to officially open Worcester's new £1.8m south stand today.
