The poetry workshops taken by expert Ruth Padel have been one of the big success stories during the opening week of Ledbury Poetry Festival.
Festival manager Charles Bennett said: "They are sold out and they are a knockout!
"We've had a lot of people attending every one or dropping in for one or two, many of whom are experienced writers.
"Everyone finds something of value at each workshop.
"I've been attending myself and she even sets us homework!"
The sessions have been taking place in the Royal Hall, off the Southend.
This Saturday from 10am, poet Deryn Rees-Jones will be taking a workshop in the same venue.
