SIMON Smith dominated top-of-the-table Stourport's Worcestershire League Division Three match at Alveley with a magnificent 163.
But in the end his team had to settle for a winning draw in Shropshire.
Neil Bailey added 46 at the other end as Stourport finished on 263-4.
Smith then captured three wickets as did spinner John Shackleton but the Alveley ninth-wicket partnership could not be broken.
However, leaders Stourport remain 12 points ahead of Oldswinford.
Stourport 163-4 (15 points), Alveley 149-8 (4).
The seconds maintained top spot in the league with a nine-wicket win at Walshes Meadow.
Alveley were soon in trouble as Chris Humphreys and Andy Goddard each took three wickets.
John Downes then got in on the act with 4-17 as Alveley were all out for 65.
A rampant Steve Davis finished on 44 not out as Stourport took just eight overs to secure victory.

The club's U-13s enjoyed their first win of the season with a success over Droitwich Spa.
Andy Kimberlin was the pick of the Stourport bowlers as Droitwich totalled 72-6.
In an exciting last-over finish, Tom Fletcher hit the winning boundary to finish on 12 not out as Stourport won by four wickets.
