WE held a "birthday bash" at Malvern Rugby Club to celebrate my 60th birthday. Donations were requested for the League of Friends of Malvern Hospital and the Macmillan Nurses. The evening was a great success raising £545 for the charities.
Thank you to all the musicians. To Len, my husband, Christine and Roly Bannister for their organisation. To Maurice Bunton for those lovely pastries. To Colston Bakeries for the buffet and the birthday cake. To Penny Goddard of Canara, Barnards Green, who provided bed and breakfast accommodation for my family and friends. To Malvern Rugby Club who provided our splendid venue and to all who donated so generously.
