GLADIATORS, sumo wrestling, crazy bikes and a bouncy castle will be among the attractions at a barbecue planned for Welland next month.
Organised by the Parent Teacher Association of Welland Primary School in aid of new playground equipment, the event will include all the fun of a summer fete. In addition to stalls and games, there will be teachers in the stocks, fire engine rides, music from Night Owl disco, a licensed bar and venison on the barbecue. The event be held on Friday, July 13, from 6.30 to 10.30pm. Admission will be 20p.
