MIDFIELDER Neil Mackenzie has agreed a new a new one-year deal with Kidderminster Harriers.

The 25-year-old moved to Aggborough last November on a free transfer from Cambridge United and made 23 league appearances, scoring three goals.

Harriers boss Jan Molby said: "Neil showed us in patches last season what a good player he can be but he also realises there are aspects of his game he must improve on.

"Neil knows he faces tough competition to gain a first team place next season, but the pleasing thing is he is ready to give it a go.

"He will give us good options and I just hope he can prove to us what a good player he can be."

Harriers' first new summer signing Danny Williams was at Aggborough to put pen to paper on a two-year deal yesterday.

Williams told the club's website: "I wasn't bothered too much about dropping down a level because this looks to be a great set-up here.

"I have been impressed with what Jan Molby had to say and I'm sure I'll be happy here."

The former Wrexham midfielder added: "I suppose my biggest strength is my passing but I don't mind getting stuck in and winning tackles. I can't wait for the new season to start now."
