A CYCLE ride from Blackpool to Paris which hopes to raise £40,000 for a kidney charity will pass through Stourport.
The 500-mile trip, which will last seven days - starting at Blackpool Tower and ending at the Eiffel Tower - has been organised by The National Kidney Research fund.
It starts on Sunday, September 2 and the 87-mile second leg of the journey, from Northwich to Stourport, will be cycled the following day.
Participants will then move onto Oxford, with the route ending in Paris on Saturday, September 8.
