AC/DC - National Bowl, Milton Keynes, Friday, June 8

EXPERIENCED bad boy rockers, AC/DC looking very fit, mean and keen, despite all being on the wrong side of 30, performed the British leg of their Stiff Upper Lip European tour to a packed crowd at Milton Keynes Bowl, supported by The Offspring, Queens of the Stone Age and Megadeth.

The enormous stage set the scene with a backdrop of New York City and a gigantic statue of Angus Young with spectacular lighting and pyrotechnic effects as the band entered to a rapturous reception.

They belted out a total of 20 classic tracks, including hits Back to Black, Whole Lot of Rosie, TNT and Rock 'n'

Roll Ain't Noise Pollution.

Angus Young (lead guitarist) was again responsible for many great trademark solos that hardened fans can't get enough of as he ran up and down the walkway that parted the crowd. One of the highlights of the show involved lead singer Brian Johnston swinging on a bell to start their song Hells Bells.

The band finished the gig in style with cannons firing to the song For Those About to Rock We Salute You.

As always, AC/DC put on one hell of a show, no one went home disappointed except those who got crushed in the crowd, passed out and missed this wonderful gig!
