CONTRARY to the remarks of several business owners in the Worcester Road, I think from what I have seen of the improvements that it is a good move.
However, when will the council get their planning right? While the men are busy laying the new footpath, another gang of men are following them digging it up to replace lamp standards.
Surely the lamp standards could have been changed before the pavement was laid. The second gang have not even waited for the first gang to move from the site, they are busy working behind them. There could be a problem if the lamp fitters catch up with the footpath layers!
