FORMER Barnt Green Spartak chairman Avtar Singh has regained control of the club after resigning in January along with his son, GJ, who was manager.
GJ has been re-appointed as team boss and Avtar has agreed a deal to become tenants at Shirley Town FC for the 2001/2002 season.
The club, which now has a revamped committee, is looking to erase the memory of the troubled 2000/2001 season.
GJ is looking forward to putting out a team to compete for the Midland Combination Division Two title.
He has recruited an Italian who had been with Seria A's Brescia and has played in the Greek second division.
A bid is also on the table for former Brookvale, Paget Rangers and Warley Rangers striker Rasheed Anifowose.
The club are also on the lookout for a physio/bucket man to help out on Saturday afternoons.
Anyone interested should contact club secretary Tony Rees on 07957 568149 or GJ on 07957 384126.
Pre-season training starts on Thursday July 12.
