Herefordshire made two early breakthroughs in the Cheltenham and Gloucester Trophy third round clash with Middlesex at Luctonians today.
Paceman Paul Thomas had Andrew Strauss caught by Chris Boroughs for four, while Ben Hutton was snaffled by Nathan Round off Nick Davies' bowling for 14.
After 14 overs Robin Weston and Owais Shah had taken Middlesex's score on to 66-2.
