Welly-wanging, a balloon launch and cake stalls were just some of the delights on offer at the Astwood Bank Scouts and Guides joint fete held at the village's first school last week.
More than £1,000 was raised during the event, which will go towards the upkeep of the headquarters.
Organisers are still waiting for the balloons to be returned so the £50 top prize can be awarded.
