FRESHLY baked muffins and exotic flavoured ice-cream will be on offer at a new caf chain which will be opening in the Kingfisher Centre this October.

BB's Coffee and Muffins will have seating for up to 80 people and will be sited along the newly refurbished Evesham walk next to JJB Sports.

The news comes as part of a £60 million revamp of the centre, which was bought by Thornfield for £100 million back in 1999.

Frozen food store Farmfoods has announced it is to relocate from its current site in George Walk to a new unit within the Kingfisher Centre.

It will be based in a new building, due to open in autumn 2002, which will include a transport interchange, TJ Hughes, Wilkinson's, a health and fitness centre and a purpose built indoor food hall.

A spokesman for BB's said: "We are delighted BB's Coffee and Muffins have joined the tenant line-up for the Kingfisher Centre.

''We were attracted to the centre by Thornfield's exciting refurbishment and redevelopment plans and firmly believe that, when completed, the centre will become one of the major shopping attractions in the Midlands."
