SWIMMING: Wyre Forest's Rachel Harrison took four gold medals, two silver and a bronze in the Ickle People Open at Wolverhampton.

The 11-year-old's achievements earned her second place in the top girl competition.

Hannah Wear, 13, took two gold and three silvers and Paul Ingenthron, 11, also struck gold and bronze.

There were 15 girls and three boys from the club with swimmers aged from 10 to 13.

The club achieved seven gold medals, 11 silvers and four bronzes, plus 28 top-eight positions.

Forest were third, behind Stafford Apex and Phoenix Youth.

Hosts Wyre Forest won the Shuttle Trophy Gala at Stourport on Saturday.

As one of the visiting clubs pulled out of the contest, Wyre Forest put together a second team.

Forest A led from the start and won most of the races comfortably with a total of 30 first places.
